NEED FOR SPEED, 90’s kids never forgot it, as it was one of the famous game of 90’s, NFS is a racing video game which ultimate aim is to win the race in illicit street race while evading the local law enforcement in police pursuits. NFS had launched its first game THE NEED FOR SPEED in 1994 and the latest release on 8 November 2019 THE NEED FOR SPEED: HEAT. Developed by EA games and further franchise to criterion games upto now they have sold 150 Millions copies of the game. The successful game franchise till now and going on.

The Need For Speed is the first game of its franchise release in 1994. The game is so famous for its Audio music and commentary and use of sports cars of several exotic and Japanese models. 2. NEED FOR SPEED 2 (1997)

Need For Speed: High Stakes is also known Need For Speed: Road challenge in South America and Europe.The 4th edition of game was released for playstation and Microsoft Windows by EA games in 1999. This game comes with two modes first is Tournament in which several series races with certain sports car and second is Special Events similar to tournament but with different conditions like night driving or play with fully upgraded cars, winning the race will earns some credit from which player can buy new cars or upgrade the cars, and by winning the new tracks also unlocked.

5. Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed (2000).

Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed is the fifth edition of the Need For speed Franchise which was released in Europe and Latin America only by the name Need For Speed: Porsche. unfortunately this version was not released in Japan. By the name only it’s clear that in this version only porsche company sports cars were used from 1955 to 2000 models. The tracks in the game was of Europe Map. There is two game play mode one is evolution mode in which player starts with 1955 car models and ends with 2000 car model. Second is factory driver mode in which there are different events like slalom, stunts and races by porsche car every events has different models of cars.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuits 2 is the sixth version of the NFS series. In this game you can play as a cop too. All you need to catch the racers as playing COP role. The game is released by EA black box for Playstations 2 and by EA Seattle for XBOX, Microsoft Windows, and game cube. The game also have two mode one is world championship and other is Hot pursuits ultimate racer.

7. Need For Speed: Underground (2003).

Need For Speed: Underground is developed by EA black box and published by EA games. The game is the 7th version of the NFS franchise which was developed two games one for console & Windows and the other is for Game boy Advance. The game feature career mode story line including exotic cars and a customize garage for the up-gradation of the cars according to the players. All races takes places at night in Olympic city also known as generic city. The game has also some tracks of New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The game was successful of the time and planned for the second launched.

8. Need For Speed: Underground 2 (2004).

Need For Speed: Underground 2 was a great success in all NFS series it was the 8th version of the franchise and sequel of NFS underground. Which was developed and published by EA games in 2004 for Xbox,Windows,Nintendo, Playstation 2, Game cube, Game boy advance, playstation potable and mobile phones. The game add the tuning for the street races. The all tracks are amazing and the story line continues from NFS underground.

9. Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2005)

Need For Speed: Most Wanted is the 9 edition of the NFS Franchise, released on 11 November 2005, developed by EA Canada and published by EA games for playstation 2, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Game cube, Nintendo, Game Boy Advance platforms. The game is street racing oriented gameplay invoved for become the most wanted racer of the event. The game become commercial success by selling its 16 Million copies world wide and entitles as the “Black edition”. The most wanted 5-1-0 is also released in same year for playstation platform.

10. Need For Speed: Carbon (2006).

Need For Speed: Carbon, the 10th edition of the NFS series was released in 2006 developed by EA black box, Rovio Mobile and EA Canada which was published by EA games for the platform Play station 3, Xbox 360, Play station 2, WII, Game cube, Xbox, Microsoft windows and Mac OS x. The gameplay is that the players conduct the illegal street race over the Fictional city “The Palmon City”. New cars were added in game with customize upgradation.

11. Need For Speed: Pro Street (2007).

Need For Speed: Pro street was launched in 2007 developed by EA black box and published by EA games. The game is the 11 edition of NFS series and the sequel of Need For Speed: Carbon (2006). Need For Speed: Shift is the 13th Edition of the NFS franchise developed by Slightly Mad Studios and EA Bright Light and published by EA games in 2009 for Playstation3, Playstation2, Play station Portable, Xbox 360, Xbox, Android, iOS, Symbian, Microsoft Windows, Windows Mobile, Meego and J2ME platforms.
